Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement (2024)

Perficient Inc. and its affiliates, including Perficient UK Limited, (collectively, “Perficient” or the “Company”) is committed to conducting its business ethically in compliance with applicable law and in a manner which supports human rights. This statement is issued in accordance with Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 (the “Statement”). It outlines measures Perficient has or plans to take to ensure human trafficking, child labour, forced labour, workplace abuse and domestic servitude (“Modern Slavery”) are not taking place in Perficient’s operations, including its supply chain.

The Statement is regularly reviewed and updated as needed by Perficient’s General Counsel working closely with senior leadership and the Company’s Board, as necessary, to ensure accuracy and legal compliance.

1. Perficient's Organization, Structure, and Supply Chains

Perficient provides a range of digital consulting services to clients across multiple industries including automotive, financial services, healthcare, insurance, life sciences, manufacturing, and retail. Perficient’s operations span forty global locations across North America, South America, Asia, and Europe, with a workforce of approximately 36,500. Perficient’s services do not involve the ownership or management of manufacturing facilities or the purchase or processing of any raw materials.

Perficient’s primary suppliers include (i) contractors which the Company uses as staff augmentation while providing client services, (ii) manufacturers and/or sellers of IT equipment and software, and (iii) property rental and management service providers. Other suppliers provide services and goods such as office equipment and supplies, employee benefits, and marketing and sales support.

2. Related Policies

Perficient’s corporate governance policies and procedures including its Supplier Code of Conduct address human rights risks such as Modern Slavery. The Company’s recruiting procedures also include industry standard employment eligibility and criminal background checks (to the extent permitted under applicable law).

3. Due Diligence (Suppliers)

Perficient’s suppliers include individual contractors which provide staff augmentation for client services, as well as companies that provide a product or service in support of the Company’s internal operations and client services (e.g., IT equipment, hardware, or software, office supplies and equipment, HR benefits providers, or marketing/event support). Perficient performs diligence on suppliers as part of its onboarding process. Additional diligence is conducted as needed in connection with audits by Perficient’s Vendor Management team.

4. Risk Assessment

Perficient believes the risk of Modern Slavery within its supply chain and operations is very low based on the nature of its business, the visibility to the Company’s supply chain, and the attention that Perficient places on this subject. The Company believes that the Suppliers which potentially pose the most risk in this area are manufacturers of technology equipment and facility maintenance.

5. Performance Indicators

Perficient has not received any reports or information alleging or evidencing Modern Slavery in its supply chain or operations. However, the Company’s Ethics & Compliance Reporting Portal provides employees with an opportunity to anonymously report potential legal, compliance, or ethical violations, related to Perficient employees (including management), clients, or Suppliers. Suppliers can provide similar reports or information to the Company by contacting Perficient’s legal department by email.

6. Training

Training related to the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and modern slavery in general is provided to Perficient colleagues as applicable.
